Zoning will address drainage issues with the county in 2011 on behalf of ALG&CC with documentation received from the community and compiled by Commissioners. Homeowner Don Brewer spoke to the Commission of his concerns regarding the upcoming monsoons and anticipated flooding, and the need to bring before the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners the County’s responsibility to provide adequate drainage via bar ditches and culverts. Commissioner Abbott has the lead to accrue testimonials, photos, and documentation from the ALG&CC community, and to request Lincoln County Commissioner Kathryn Minter assist in scheduling our concerns as an Agenda Item at an upcoming LCBoC meeting. Broad notification to the ALG&CC community will be made.
The County is responsible for maintaining “bar” ditches to handle drainage. If you have an issue, please document and notify the ALSZD (email@example.com) of your concerns so we can compile and present to the Lincoln County Commissioners.
